Chambers enjoys a national reputation for disease work.  Members of Chambers have appeared in some of the leading cases in the field, having provided significant (and successful) representation in landmark authorities relating to actionability, thresholds for ‘guilty knowledge’, causation and apportionment and limitation.

Over the years, individual members have appeared in some of the UK’s largest group actions and contribution claims arising from occupational diseases.  Our work continues to take us to every part of the country where traditional industry has existed.

Members of Chambers appear in all forums, from the taking of evidence on commission to cases at all jurisdictional levels, including the Supreme Court.
