Kayleigh studied law at the University of Cambridge before completing the BPTC at Cardiff Law School, where she was graded Outstanding. She received the Lord Justice Holker Award from Gray’s Inn for her BPTC year and was awarded the Oxford University Press Law Prize for the Best Performance in Civil Practice on the BPTC.
Before commencing pupillage, she worked as an Assistant Advocate at a law firm appearing as the Presenting Officer on behalf of the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) in many professional conduct panel hearings. Within this role Kayleigh also acted for Claimants and Defendants in CCMC’s, interim applications, Stage 3 hearings, infant approval settlement hearings, small claims hearings and appeals to the First Tier Tribunal.
Prior to becoming an Assistant Advocate, Kayleigh worked at a housing association tackling anti-social behaviour. As a Housing Officer she drafted pleadings and witness statements for injunction and possession claims and attended the respective hearings.
Kayleigh has extensive experience of RTA claims having initially worked as a paralegal in a law firm with a case load including MOJ Portal claims, litigated claims and MIB claims.
In her spare time, Kayleigh is partial to sky diving, bungee jumping and snorkelling with sharks.
