Housing

Our barristers are highly experienced in all aspects of housing law, acting for public and private sector landlords, tenants and others with property rights.

The depth of experience in our Housing Team allows us to meet all levels of requirement, whether advisory or appearing in the County and High Courts and on judicial review.

We work with our clients on all aspects of housing law, including allocations, possessions, arrears, right to buy, eviction, squatters, harassment, succession, homelessness, tenancy agreements, licenses and travellers.

Our work also includes bringing and defending claims for breach of covenant, overcrowding, disrepair and housing condition, service charges and houses in multiple occupation.

We have experience of both seeking and defending anti-social behaviour and nuisance injunctions and orders, and in proceedings for committal to prison following breach.

Our Housing Team also has experience in the related areas of community care, health and safety, disability rights, human rights, discrimination and social services.
